All my life I have loved parks and recreation.  The thrill of teamwork, a great walk in a wooded park, the laughter of children splashing in the pool, joining your friends for a great workout, spending time with your loved ones, these are the rewards of living in a community rich in parks and recreation opportunities.  

I have been fortunate to have had a long career bringing these services and benefits to the public.  After graduation from USU in Parks and Recreation, I began my career with Salt Lake City to become the Recreation Director over all events, golf courses, community centers, and programs.  I took a break to be a mom to my two sons.  I chose to stay in Parks and Recreation when I picked my career back up and have loved working for the Cottonwood Heights Parks and Recreation Service Area as Program Manager and Fiscal Manager and Oquirrh Recreation and Parks District as Executive Director.

In 2020 I retired after 42 years in parks and recreation.  I have been a resident of Cottonwood Heights for 17 years and love the community and the Cottonwood Heights Parks and Recreation Service Area.  I have been on the Board of Trustees since 2022, representing District 2 and feel the Service Area is truly a huge asset to the community.  I want to ensure a strong and vibrant future for the Service Area and the community it serves.
